About INFKNIT
Founded on Recovery
INFKNIT was founded in 2018 by Jackie Smythe while studying sustainability and entrepreneurship in Costa Rica. INFKNIT ended up being her class final project but Jackie decided to turn it into a business.
One year later, Jackie found herself in treatment diagnosed with an eating disorder. As she fought for her life, she lived out of a single suitcase for months. In turn, Jackie decided to pivot INFKNIT to help women rebuild their closets with sustainable reversible apparel. The idea is, with the products being reversible, women can pack less being in treatment or buy less while rebuilding their closets.
At INFKNIT, we believe sustainability should be the norm. All our products are ethically hand cut and sewn in Michigan, and as of recent, Massachusetts. Our fabrics are made in California with imported yarn and our scraps make up scrunchies, beanies and masks. Our packaging is biodegradable and we even offer carbon neutral shipping!
We are absolutely thrilled you're here and can't wait to grow alongside you on your journey!
Versatility + Sustainable Fabrics = Less Waste
Our clothes take the place of multiple garments in one so you can have a smaller and more sustainable closet. With INFKNIT, you can buy less, waste less and limit your environmental impact.
