Sustainability is a core value of INFKNIT Apparel. We focus on all forms of sustainability: environmental, social and economic. 

INFKNIT’s products are hand cut and sewn at locally at Soft Goods Detroit in Michigan.

Our products being made locally in Detroit ensures INFKNIT is able to validate the employee conditions of manufacturing and reduce our carbon footprint. Employees are compensated fairly with great working conditions and a positive environment. We also love working with Soft Goods Detroit because we can show support to the MSU network and Detroit fashion community.

Online orders are shipped with recycled boxes and tissue paper. All our materials are fully recyclable.

Our accessories use the excess fabric from our clothing pieces in order to reduce waste. We also curate our fabrics so they have the most limited impact on the environment, including sourcing materials that utilize closed-loop production.

Please allow 2-9 business days for your order to be processed and shipped! This is with an exception of holidays and sale periods. All purchases will be fulfilled and shipped in the order they are received. You’ll receive a notification by email with your tracking information once your item has been shipped.

Standard shipping takes 2-9 business days within the continental US.

We are shipping inside the continental US + Canada as well as internationally!

We offer free standard shipping for U.S. orders over $100.

Once an order is placed we are unable to make changes. However, if there’s an error in your shipping address please reach out to oliviamiller@infknit.com as quickly as possible. We can’t promise we’ll be able to stop your package but we will try!

Returns and exchanges are available for unworn products with tags attached within 30 days of online purchase. Please allow 3-5 business days after your product has been received for your return or exchange to be processed. If during holidays or other high demand periods, the period in which your return or exchanged is processed may increase. The credit should appear on your statement within two billing cycles. If paid via Paypal, the refund will be refunded via Paypal.

During returns/exchanges please note that we are not responsible for your return shipping cost. You will be responsible for any cost that may occur to send your exchanges/returns back to INFKNIT. INFKNIT will email you a shipping label, and cost will be deducted from your return amount. Items must be returned within 30 days, unworn and still have the tags on. 

For a return please contact oliviamiller@infknit.com and let us know your reason for the return or exchange. All items that are returned must be unworn, have all original tags attached and shipped with the receipt or packing slip.

Kickstarter Rewards cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded. Product defaults will be handled on a case by case basis through contacting oliviamiller@infknit.com. Please understand the Kickstarter Rewards were used in full to fund dress production.

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks, or money orders.

Sales tax is dependent upon where you live and the items you purchase. All tax will be estimated at checkout.

Want to ensure sustainable shipping? We use an external app called Cloverly so you have the option to do so. Cloverly calculates the carbon impact of a your order, and by checking off the box to pay a littl extra (usually under $1), you can enable carbon neutral shipping. You will also get the details of the specific offset project used.

Each product is different but a safe bet is to wash on cold, and hang to dry to ensure the longevity of your product. However, products that are dyer safe we recommend tumble dry low. Please see each product for individualized washing instructions.

To find out how an item fits, please consult the size guide on each product page. Most of our products have a relaxed fit and a comfortable stretch. Products that are made to fit both men and women, such as our Back2Back, typically run on the larger side. 

Never cut your tag off ! Always rip, it was sewn into the product on a strong seam and can handle the pressure of you ripping it.

We can’t make any promises, but we do know which items are favorites! We use that information to decide what to bring back and what to improve. As a small sustainable brand, we value quality over quantity. It’s imperative we maintain a sustainable and ethical supply chain above all else- we will never compromise our values to mass produce.
